Coconut Nectar is taken from the tree, dried for up to an hour to evaporate excess moisture, never exceeding an average summer day in the tropics. By contrast, most Agave is heated up to 140 degrees F for approximately 36 hours, containing 90% fructose.
Coconut Nectar is 0.5% glucose, 1.5% fructose, 16% sucrose and 82% FOS, a prebiotic inulin that promotes digestive health.
